E.L. Design was engaged to refurbish the Family Area of the house, which was a 2002 addition to the 1930’s brick home. The Family Room occupies a large floor space with a high raked ceiling with French doors and windows, granting access to a timber deck on two sides and offering picturesque views of the garden.

The refurbishment included:

  • New kitchen, butler's pantry and laundry
  • New display joinery
  • New ambient lighting design
  • Finishes and colours selection
  • Furniture and fabric selections

A classic modern style was used to complement their collection of mid-century furniture and extensive art collection.
