E.L. Design was engaged to transform this c1898 historic church hall into a versatile, contemporary residence. The brief was to provide entertaining areas and accommodation, special areas for work and hobbies, and places to display many artworks, collectables and antique furniture. Installation of an internal lift and a bridge connecting upper level spaces was necessary for disabled access. Special finishes and detailing included custom made joinery throughout and extensive use of handmade glass for glazing, shower screens and kitchen splashbacks.
